"I am not living in Britain now, but I have been there in the course of being an archæologist (also I have beenan ardent Anglophile---quite possibly for my entire life to date---and it does not show any sign of fading! I love Great Britain, and have crawled over (or through!) the South-East, the City of London, the Roman excavations in Bath,---and much older things in the Glastonbury area-ish.
I am Canadian citizen by birth, Scots by descent of a small noble House of the 'de Keith' Clan, called 'Dickson'.
I'm pretty good at heraldry, genealogy, and travelling in all directions at once... :P
So, if I can be of assistance---I'd love to!.
    If I can't, or if I'm a nuisance---I can leave again.
Drop me a line and let me know, please."

"there were a lot of Anchor Inns...........I will go back and find the one you went to, as the one I thought it was was definitely not by a river for fishing? I wonder, do you take your dog with you when you go fishing? bye for now.....take care...Cathrynn"

"Hmmm.. actually the Anchor Inn appears to be half way down the Anchor Lane... coincidentally almost exactly where my house is.... but anyway, not where the pub is actually located.... at the very end of the lane right by the river.

I know it's still there as I've just taken the dog past it."

"*chuckle* - well, I hope there will be more than two people, but yes, I did discover that your local watering place was in the middle of a field. Also, where I live is placed wrongly, though I did put the right postcode in as well. But am very new to all of this and trying to find my way around, so I dont really know what is usual and what is not. I used to live in West Sussex and know all around your area very well - very beautiful..:) CC"

"Are there only two people from the UK using Plazes then?
I'm getting there but am baffled why the full postcode can't be added to any plazes I create. My local watering hole has been placed in middle of a field and appears completely inaccessible."
