24hBerlin @ Berlin (BERLIN, DE)People in Berlin can shoot their Berlin video diary, people from all over the world are invited to participate by shooting their video greetings!, Sep 5, 2008, 6:00 AM
"On 5 September 2008, 80 teams will be shooting 24h Berlin,
all over Berlin, from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m., 24 hours non-stop. But
not only these professional teams will become part of the
24h documentary TV programme.
Everyone in Berlin and internationally will have the chance to
be part of the multimedia project. While people in Berlin can
shoot their Berlin video diary, people from all over the world
are invited to participate by shooting their video greetings.
All videos shot on 5 September 2008 can be uploaded on the
project’s website www.24hberlin.tv. Other users can then
rate the videos. All videos from Berlin have the chance of becoming part of the official TV programme, which will be broadcast exactly one year after the shooting on 5 September 2009.
Just like the shooting, the broadcast will take place for 24
hours non-stop, on the German TV channel Rundfunk Berlin
Brandenburg (rbb), on the European channel ARTE, and on
Finnish YLE Teema.
On www.24hberlin.tv, everyone can learn the basics of
filmmaking. Until 5 September 2008, we will present a new
clip every week. In five steps, everyone can learn how to
handle the camera, the lighting and the sound.
